The Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park interprets the shipyard era, and the Point Richmond Historic District preserves the pre-industrial town. The Richmond Marina, the Bay Trail and the San Francisco Bay Ferry terminal face the water; Wildcat Canyon Regional Park closes the east. Richmond BART shares a platform with Amtrak's Capitol Corridor, and the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge carries Marin traffic. West Contra Costa Unified serves the city.
